(More customer reviews)I have an older model I found discarded at the dumpster, and I can't believe how good it works! I had been researching these, and thinking about buying one, but they can be a little expensive. I saw this one at the dumpster, and figured what the heck, it's free if it doesn't work as described, I'll bring it back. I had to buy a propane tank, hooked it up, lit the pilot light, and left it alone for several weeks, (actually started it on April 9th, and refilled the tank May 27th) and I have not had one mosquito this year!!! I have lived here for six years, and because I am kind of tucked in at the bottom of a hill, there is a lot of shade and therefor a lot of mosquitos. I have never been able to just walk out and enjoy the outdoors, I always had to smother myself and guests with bug spray. But this year, I haven't had a single bite! I didn't like the idea of spraying the yard, because I enjoy the birds and don't want to make them ill, and I hated spraying myself, and then having to wash it all off before going to bed. I can honestly say had I known how well this worked, I would have paid twice the asking price, it has freed me from hiding in the house to avoid mosquitos.
